Traditional Algerian sweets are the heart of North African pastry. Every wilaya has its own specialties and expertise, passed down from mother to daughter for generations. From Constantine's makroudh stuffed with dates to Algiers' dziriette with almond paste, these treats accompany every celebration: Ramadan, Eid, weddings and births.
Our artisans select the finest semolina, almonds, Deglet Nour dates and honey to prepare these ancestral recipes. Available fried or oven-baked, with classic syrup or pure honey, each piece is hand-shaped according to tradition.
